Frequently asked questions

Q – How do you re-train muscles, tissues, organs etc with biofeedback?
A – Through biofeedback loops that send back resonant frequencies generated from digital programs.  The client’s needs are established via baseline parameters during calibration, and testing thereafter.  Consider that everything has a unique energetic frequency or signature, so when the client is exposed to thousands of standardized frequencies, the way they respond gives information about how close or far away they are from the standard ranges.

Q – What kind of equipment is used to do this?
A – The primary biofeedback equipment used is the Canadian-made Indigo which is registered as a class-2 medical device.  I also use other bio-resonance equipment as well as PEMF, which also has biofeedback capabilities.  As the technologies become more advanced with new capabilities, the equipment is either upgraded or new technologies added.

Q – Is it a painful procedure?
A – No. Any discomfort that may ensue is usually because of different sensations being felt, as the body adjusts towards homeostasis (balance).  At other times, there may be mild ‘cleansing’ responses as the body disposes of unwanted ‘materials’.  On the other hand, some responses may be purely coincidental.  The most common response during the session is a sense of drowsiness (many clients fall asleep) because of being in such a relaxed state – which is advantageous to the healing response.  This induced, relaxed state releases stress and provides a window into the superconscious mind (which enhances clear judgement and creativity).  In this state, clients will often realize new and better perspectives about themselves, their life goals, and gain a fresh desire to move forward with more energy and positivity.

Q – Why are some people and institutions sceptical?
A  – As with any unfamiliar modality, product or protocols outside of mainstream medicine, scepticism is typical and understandable.  Consider that despite the abundance of evidence that science has provided to prove the damage that climate change has been wreaking on our planet, there are still staunch climate-change denials.  It took a very long time for acupuncture to be accepted as a viable treatment option. There was a time when tonsillectomies and appendectomies were the treatments of choice before understanding that those appendages are part of an efficient immune system!  The experience, skill and professionalism (or lack thereof) of the practitioner will determine credibility.

Q – How long will it take to see improvements?
A – This varies for each individual and their current state of health.  It depends on how long it took for particular ill-effects to manifest outwardly.  In general, clients typically observe tangible changes between 1-5 sessions while chronic conditions will take longer.  The goal is NOT to have clients become dependent on these modalities but rather to extend the adjustments by adhering to lifestyle changes because the body is always anxious to regain homeostasis.

Q – Do all Practitioners have the same training?
A – No.  There are different designations in this community of practitioners, as with any other profession.  A lot of Practitioners start out with using the equipment for their own self-care, then after gaining great results, decide to share the benefits by practising.  Of course, there are minimum requirements to do so, and there are many opportunities to do advanced studies and acquire higher qualifications IF one chooses to.  A Practitioner’s professional background, knowledge and experiences play an important role in achieving the best results.  It’s up to you to determine if you’re satisfied with answers to questions asked, regarding experience, qualifications and board certification.

Q – How does colour or light therapy help my health?
A – Colour and light therapies utilize various energy bands of colour and light to stimulate or subdue photonic activity within cells.  Since we ARE beings of light, balance in this key area is advantageous for better cell functioning.

Q – What do you use for this type of therapy?
A – I have chosen to use the ADK 3000 developed by Dr Alastair Bourne PhD.  He is a Geneticist, a Vibrational Medicine Practitioner and an avid developer of frequency-generator devices.  He has been my mentor for many years and was my trainer for the proper and most efficient uses of the device.

Q – Do I have to be referred by my physician for any of these sessions?
A – No.  Most likely, your doctor may know very little, if anything, about these technologies, unless they have chosen to expand their knowledge to include complementary modalities and practise integrative medicine.  Typical, conventional physicians are trained and licensed to manage and treat diseases.  Preventative health care is primarily your responsibility.

Q – Will I feel any pain or side-effects during these procedures.
A – Not from any of the actual procedures because they are all non-invasive.  Some discomfort might occur as the body adjusts and moves towards improved health.  Also, keep in mind that some adverse feelings/symptoms might simply be coincidental!

Q – Are the fees covered by insurance?
A – Depending on your type of coverage, some insurance providers in the USA cover biofeedback.  Fees are not currently covered by OHIP, in my province of Ontario, Canada, but might be covered through a private insurance policy.  You would have to check with your insurance company.

Q – How will I know which service I need?
A – That will depend on the reason for your interest.  Biofeedback offers the most comprehensive assessment, so your  ‘real’ needs are best determined by that route.  The other options can be applied thereafter, if necessary, selected or to augment a particular goal.  On the other hand, if you follow a very healthy lifestyle and have no particular health issues, other modalities might be great for fine-tuning.

Q – Why do you focus on a female clientele?
A – I simply find it more rewarding to work with this group.  Maybe because they tend to be more open to dialogue, especially when we get into deeper core issues.

Q – How come there’s no refund if I don’t see a difference?
A – There are always effective changes because those responses are observed throughout the process.  Whereas you may not be one of those who feel a difference immediately, the changes could take weeks or even months to be fully recognized and appreciated.  Oftentimes, clients suddenly realize that they don’t have a particular issue, anymore.  That’s because the brain readily forgets the prior situation when it’s not apparent anymore.
